Our women and children’s shelter serves as a safe haven for single women and mothers with children. Nearly 13,000 nights of shelter were provided to women and children in 2010. Guests are provided three meals a day, a place to stay with shower, laundry facility, personal hygiene items, and clothing.
We also have a day shelter available for guests at our women and children's shelter. This day room has computer stations, child care rooms, and telephones.
If you would like to help provide a safe haven for homeless women and children, please email info@lcrm.org or call 517.485.0145 for more information.
The Maplewood Center also houses the Women’s Life Transformation Program. This is a one year drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. There are 12 beds available, and we provide biblical counseling, classes, food, hygiene items, and other necessities at no charge.
