All our services are supplied at no cost to those in need and are provided through the donations of compassionate supporters. Services are dependent upon donations and may be unavailable at various times. Special projects, such as Christmas Dinner, are seasonal. Financial Assistance:
We do not provide any monetary assistance for rent, utilities, bus fare, etc. For information on agencies in the area that may provide such assistance, please call 211 from any land line phone or visit www.211.org to reach a referral center.
Food:
Food Basket: only given to those with their own residence. Those eligible can come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue between 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Monday through Thursday, to sign up. They will need ID for all in the household, a recent rent receipt, proof of income, and food stamp/bridge card information. Must stay through lunch (ends about 1 p.m.). Can receive one basket every 60 days.

Lunch: Come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue between 11 a.m. and noon to sign-up. Person at the desk will ask for ID. Doors close promptly at noon. Lunch is served after chapel.
Supper: Come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to sign-up. Person at the desk will ask for ID. Doors close promptly at 7 p.m.. Supper is served after chapel.

Free Store/Clothing Distribution Center (1515 S. Cedar St., Lansing, Michigan):
The Mission Free Store is now the Mission Clothing Distibution Center. The clothing center provides clothing to those who are homeless or low income. To qualify for clothing assistance, a person must bring a current voucher or proof of homelessness and identification to 1515 S. Cedar Street. Men can shop every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Women can shop every Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Please note that this facility will be closed for holidays. If you are not able to come during the above times and there is an urgent need, please call 211 or visit www.211.org to reach a referral center for an agency that may be able to help you. Missing Person:
By law, we are prohibited from giving out any information about our guests or others we serve. We suggest that you contact your local law enforcement agency regarding a missing person.
Rehabilitation/Transformation Program for Men:
This is a one year, in-house program to help men deal with drug/alcohol addiction issues through biblical training and counseling. There is no charge, but applicants must first meet with program personnel. The men reside at our Michigan Avenue Mission.

Shelter:
Men: Beds available every night on a first-come, first-serve basis. Come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to sign-up for bed for the night. Will need some form of ID.
Women (and children): must call our Family Center for availability, 517.482.2145.

Vouchers: Vouchers are available at the City Rescue Mission. Please come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue with some form of ID. Preferred sign-up times are 11 a.m. to 11:45 and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. This is the same as sign-up for a meal, and those signing up for a voucher are welcome to sign-up and stay for the meal.
