Clothes/Clothing Distribution Center:
The Mission provides clothing to our guests.  To qualify for clothing assistance, a person must bring a current voucher and identification to 1515 S. Cedar Street.  Men can receive clothing every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Women can come every Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Please note that this facility will be closed for holidays.  If you are not able to come during these times and there is an urgent need, please call 211 or visit www.211.org to reach a referral center for another agency that can help you.

Financial Assistance:
We do not provide any monetary assistance for rent, utilities, bus fare, etc.  For information on agencies in the area that may provide such assistance, please call 211 from any land line phone or visit www.211.org to reach a referral center.

Food:
Food Baskets are available to those with their own home. Take a recent rent receipt or mortgage payment receipt, proof of income (if receiving any), and ID for all in the household to 613 E. Michigan Avenue. Sign up times are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.  Must stay through lunch. Available once every 60 days.  See below for meal sign-in times.

Lunch: Come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue between 11 a.m. and noon to sign-up.  Person at the desk will ask for ID.  Doors close promptly at noon.  Lunch is served Monday through Friday after chapel.

Supper: Come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to sign-up.  Person at the desk will ask for ID.  Doors close promptly at 7 p.m..  Supper is served daily after chapel.

Holiday Meals:
The Mission serves meals 365 days a year.  More information regarding Thanksgiving and Christmas meals is available at the holiday.

Hygiene Items/Personal Needs:
Available to anyone in need.  Come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue between 11 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., Monday through Friday, to sign-up.  Will need ID for all in the household.  Must stay through lunch (ends about 1 p.m.).  Can receive once every 60 days.

Missing Person:
By law, we are prohibited from giving out any information about our guests or others we serve.  We suggest that you contact your local law enforcement agency regarding a missing person.

Rehabilitation/Life Transformation Programs:
This is a one year, in-house program to help people deal with drug/alcohol addiction issues through biblical training and counseling.  There is no charge, but applicants must first meet with program personnel.  The men are guests at our Michigan Avenue Mission. Women are guests at our Maplewood Center.

Shelter:
Men: Beds available every night on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to sign-up for bed for the night.  Will need some form of ID.

Women (and children): must call our Women and Children's Shelter for availability, 517.485.0145.

Vouchers: Vouchers for the Mission's Clothing Distribution Center are available at the City Rescue Mission.  Please come to 613 E. Michigan Avenue with some form of ID.  Sign-up times are Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 11:45.  This is a service for guests of the City Rescue Mission of Lansing.  This is the same as sign-up for a meal, and those signing up for a voucher must sign-up and stay for the meal.
