Serving Meals:

Purpose of Position:
• To help meet the needs of our community and guests by assisting with serving meals.

Main Responsibilities:
• Serving meals, drinks and “salad bar” items to guests and assisting with preparation and cleanup.
• Commiting to meeting health department regulations regarding proper handling and food hygiene. (These will be explained by our director of volunteers after volunteer is scheduled.)

Available Places and Times:

• Women and Children's Shelter*, Daily 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Michigan Avenue, Daily 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

*We do ask that those serving dinner at our women and children's shelter be willing to work with children during the women's Bible study.  Also, those volunteers serving at the women and children's shelter must be willing to undergo a background check for the safety of our guests.
